Service
Website Design & Development
Premium, fast, conversion-focused websites and e-commerce experiences built to represent your business well.
The problem
Most business websites are slow, generic, or built on templates that make a growing company look interchangeable with everyone else in its market.
Our approach
We design and build custom websites with a distinctive visual identity, strong performance fundamentals, and clear conversion paths — from marketing sites to full e-commerce storefronts.
Typical deliverables
- Custom visual identity applied to the web experience
- Responsive, accessible front-end build
- Content structure and information architecture
- Performance and SEO fundamentals
- Deployment and handover documentation
Suitable for
- Businesses replacing a template-based or outdated website
- Founders launching a new brand or product
- Teams that need e-commerce without an agency retainer
What’s included
A standard engagement for this service covers the following. Your proposal states the exact scope for your project.
- Discovery, sitemap, and content structure for the pages in scope
- Custom visual design — not a purchased template
- Responsive build across mobile, tablet, and desktop
- Accessibility and performance fundamentals
- On-page SEO basics: metadata, heading structure, sitemap, robots
- Deployment and a handover walkthrough
- The revision rounds set out in your proposal
Scoped separately
Often assumed to be included, but quoted as its own scope. We flag these before work starts, not during it.
- Copywriting and translation, where words need writing rather than placing
- Photography, video, and custom illustration
- Brand identity design as a standalone project
- Ongoing maintenance, hosting management, and content updates after handover
- Third-party licences, plugins, fonts, and stock assets
- Complex commerce operations such as ERP, POS, or tax automation
Pricing
Custom project pricing
We do not publish a fixed price for this service, because the honest cost depends on what your project actually involves. You receive a written proposal with the price, scope, and payment schedule before you commit to anything, and no work begins until you approve it.
An estimated timeline is included in that proposal. It depends on the agreed scope and on how quickly feedback, content, and approvals come back — so we set it against your project rather than advertising a number that would not hold.
What determines the price
- Number of unique page templates, rather than total page count
- Whether e-commerce or transactional functionality is required
- Depth of custom design versus adapting an established system
- Integrations with CRM, booking, payment, or analytics platforms
- Content volume, and who produces it
How quoting, invoicing, and milestone payments work is set out in our Payment & Engagement Policy.
