Business Automation

Workflow automation that removes manual, repetitive work from day-to-day business operations.

The problem

Growing businesses often run on manual processes — spreadsheets, copy-pasting between tools, repetitive admin work — that quietly cost hours every week.

Our approach

We map the manual steps in a process and replace them with reliable automation connecting the tools you already use, or purpose-built internal tools where needed.

Typical deliverables

  • Process mapping of the current manual workflow
  • Automation design across existing tools and systems
  • Custom internal tooling where off-the-shelf automation isn't enough
  • Error handling and monitoring for automated processes
  • Handover documentation for the team that will run it

Suitable for

  • Operations teams doing repetitive manual data entry or coordination
  • Businesses scaling past what manual processes can support
  • Founders who want their time back from administrative work

What’s included

A standard engagement for this service covers the following. Your proposal states the exact scope for your project.

  • Mapping the current manual process step by step
  • Automation design across the tools you already use
  • Build and configuration of the automated workflow
  • Error handling, alerting, and monitoring
  • Testing against real data before switchover
  • Handover documentation for the team that will run it

Scoped separately

Often assumed to be included, but quoted as its own scope. We flag these before work starts, not during it.

  • Subscription costs for the automation platforms and tools involved
  • Licences or paid API tiers required to connect a system
  • Custom internal tooling where off-the-shelf automation cannot do the job
  • Process redesign and change management across your team
  • Ongoing monitoring and maintenance after handover

Pricing

Custom project pricing

We do not publish a fixed price for this service, because the honest cost depends on what your project actually involves. You receive a written proposal with the price, scope, and payment schedule before you commit to anything, and no work begins until you approve it.

An estimated timeline is included in that proposal. It depends on the agreed scope and on how quickly feedback, content, and approvals come back — so we set it against your project rather than advertising a number that would not hold.

What determines the price

  • Number of steps and systems involved in the process
  • Whether the tools involved expose usable APIs
  • Volume, and how reliable the automation has to be
  • How much needs custom tooling versus configuration
  • Whether existing data needs cleaning first

How quoting, invoicing, and milestone payments work is set out in our Payment & Engagement Policy.

How the engagement runs

01

Map

Document the current manual process step by step.

02

Design

Design the automated replacement and its failure handling.

03

Build

Implement the automation across the relevant tools.

04

Test

Validate against real data before relying on it fully.

05

Handover

Document how it works and how to maintain it.
