SaaS Platforms & Custom Web Systems
Product strategy, UX/UI design, and full-stack development for SaaS platforms and custom web systems — from initial planning and MVP validation through production launch and ongoing improvement.
The problem
Turning a software idea into a real, reliable subscription product requires product strategy, UX design, and full-stack engineering working together — capabilities most early teams don't have in-house yet.
Our approach
We manage the product strategy, design, and technical delivery needed to turn an early-stage software idea into a focused, reliable digital product. When a project requires specialized regulatory, security, infrastructure, or domain expertise, the appropriate specialists may be included in the delivery process.
Typical deliverables
- Product scoping and technical architecture
- UX/UI design for core product flows
- Full-stack web application development
- Authentication, data modeling, and billing integration readiness
- Admin dashboards and internal management tools
- Production deployment and monitoring setup
- Documentation, testing, and post-launch improvement planning
Suitable for
- Founders validating a SaaS idea with a functional MVP
- Businesses replacing manual processes with a custom web system
- Teams that need product, design, and technical delivery managed in one place
- Businesses developing dashboards, portals, workflow tools, or AI-enabled applications
What’s included
A standard engagement for this service covers the following. Your proposal states the exact scope for your project.
- Product scoping and technical architecture for the agreed build
- UX/UI design for the core product flows in scope
- Full-stack development of those flows
- Authentication, data model, and role and permission structure
- Admin or internal management views where the scope includes them
- Production deployment, environment setup, and basic monitoring
- Technical documentation and handover
Scoped separately
Often assumed to be included, but quoted as its own scope. We flag these before work starts, not during it.
- Payment processor and billing provider account setup, and their fees
- Formal security audits, penetration testing, and compliance certification
- Native mobile applications
- Large-scale data migration from an existing system
- Ongoing feature development, support retainers, and service-level agreements
- Third-party infrastructure, API, and licence costs
Pricing
Custom project pricing
We do not publish a fixed price for this service, because the honest cost depends on what your project actually involves. You receive a written proposal with the price, scope, and payment schedule before you commit to anything, and no work begins until you approve it.
An estimated timeline is included in that proposal. It depends on the agreed scope and on how quickly feedback, content, and approvals come back — so we set it against your project rather than advertising a number that would not hold.
What determines the price
- Number and complexity of the core product flows
- Data model complexity and reporting requirements
- Third-party integrations, and how well documented they are
- Whether multi-tenancy, role hierarchies, or billing logic are required
- Expected scale, and the resilience the product needs at launch
How quoting, invoicing, and milestone payments work is set out in our Payment & Engagement Policy.
How the engagement runs
01
Scope
Define the core problem and the smallest product that solves it well.
02
Architect
Choose a technical foundation that will scale with the product.
03
Design
Design the core user flows before writing production code.
04
Build
Implement in focused milestones with visible, testable progress.
05
Ship
Deploy to production with monitoring and a path to iterate.
Projects involving regulated financial infrastructure, sensitive medical systems, formal compliance certification, or exceptionally large-scale infrastructure are reviewed individually and may require additional specialized experts.
