Payment & Engagement Policy

1. What we sell

Fikrova Labs LLC is a professional services business. We are paid by business clients to design and build digital products — websites, SaaS platforms and custom web systems, AI-powered solutions, automation systems, and product design and strategy work. We do not sell physical goods, and we do not sell off-the-shelf products at a fixed shelf price.

2. How you buy: quote first, not checkout

This website does not currently provide an automated public checkout, shopping cart, or self-service subscription purchase. That is a deliberate reflection of how the business works rather than a missing feature: every engagement is scoped individually before a price can be stated honestly.

The commercial path is: you request a quote, we review your requirements, we issue a written proposal, you approve it, and an invoice is issued against that approved proposal. Payment is made against that invoice. The full sequence is set out on our How We Work page.

3. Pricing

We use custom project pricing. The price of an engagement depends on its scope, complexity, the number and depth of integrations, design requirements, timeline, and the deliverables agreed. Because those factors differ materially between projects, we do not publish fixed prices or standard packages.

You always receive a written price before committing. No amount becomes payable until you have approved the proposal that states it.

4. Proposals and invoices

Payments are made against an approved proposal and the invoices issued under it. Each invoice identifies the project, the work or milestone it covers, the amount due, the currency, and the payment due date. An invoice is only issued for work covered by a proposal you have accepted.

5. Deposits and milestone payments

Engagements may use an initial payment and further payments tied to project milestones. Work may require an initial payment before commencement; where that applies it is stated in the proposal. The exact payment schedule — how much is due, when, and against which milestone — is defined in the accepted project proposal for that engagement, and is not fixed site-wide.

6. Payment methods

Available payment methods are specified on the applicable proposal or invoice. Payment instructions are issued by us directly as part of the invoice for that project.

We do not advertise particular payment rails on this website. If a method is not named on your proposal or invoice, do not assume it is available — ask us and we will confirm in writing what applies to your engagement.

Payment details must match the approved business arrangement. If you receive payment instructions that differ from those on the invoice we issued — a different account, a different beneficiary name, or a change requested by email at short notice — do not act on them. 7. Currency, taxes, and bank charges

Project quotes and invoices are generally issued in U.S. dollars (USD), unless otherwise agreed in writing. Where a different currency is agreed, it is stated on the proposal and the invoice.

Unless the invoice states otherwise, amounts are exclusive of any taxes or duties that may apply in your jurisdiction, and any transfer, intermediary, or currency-conversion charges applied by your bank or payment provider are your responsibility.

8. Late or missing payment

If an invoice becomes overdue we will contact you before taking any other step. Work on the project may be paused until the outstanding amount is settled. Where a project is paused for non-payment, the delivery dates in the proposal no longer apply and will be rescheduled once work resumes.

9. Work outside the approved scope

Anything not described in the accepted proposal is outside scope. Out-of-scope work may require a new quote or a written change order before it is carried out, and may affect both price and timeline. We will tell you when a request falls outside the approved scope rather than absorbing it silently or invoicing for it after the fact.

10. Final delivery and outstanding payments

Final delivery and production handover may require completion of the agreed outstanding payments for that engagement. Where this applies it is stated in the proposal. Work already delivered and paid for is unaffected.

Rights in project-specific deliverables are granted or transferred as described in section 9 of our Terms of Serviceand the applicable proposal, subject to the agreed payment terms. Our pre-existing tools, libraries, frameworks, and reusable components, and any third-party materials, are licensed for use as part of your deliverable rather than transferred — the categories are set out in that section.

11. Cancellation and refunds

What happens to deposits, milestone payments, completed work, and third-party costs if an engagement ends early is set out in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
